Built for speed, reliability and flexibility, Caldera GrandRIP+ is at the cutting-edge of wide-format production software. Known as a company consistently at the top of their game, Oasis Graphic Co. has just integrated the Caldera GrandRIP+ Print-to-Cut system into the business. The software runs on multiple PC / Mac platforms, and drives customer printing and cutting devices. It has replaced a number of individual RIP stations of different makes and varying levels of functionality, giving Oasis the ultimate production workflow.

Pelican Print provides in-house pre-press, litho, digital and large format printing from their two sites, both based in Aylesbury. With a history spanning 20 years, they are very much in the present when it comes to innovation, and recently purchased an ESKO Kongsberg X24 Starter from CMYUK, the UK's largest independent supplier of large format digital printers, cutting equipment and materials.

CMYUK has announced the appointment of Brett Platt as Digital Textile Manager. The new position reflects the significant investment CMYUK is making in digital textiles across soft signage, home décor and fashion markets. With over 20 years of experience across every element of textiles, Platt is unique in his skillset and in this new role he promises to bring something special to the UK market that doesn’t currently exist.

Colour Graphics was founded in 1980 by Steve Birch as a home-based curtain making business. Since then it has seen great transformation and is now a digital print operation with a yearly turnover of £1.5m. A family-run business, the company has always kept a close eye on the latest digital print technology and recently invested in a FabriVu 340 with Klieverik calendar, purchased from CMYUK. The 3.4m-wide FabriVu replaces an older Mtex 5032 Pro, and the company has seen immediate benefits in flexibility, speed and range.

Large format digital production company Rocket Graphics has recently announced considerable expansion to its Watford-based facilities, adding 6,000 square feet to the Croxley Business Park site. This additional space is now home to a new 3.2m EFI VUTEk LX3 UV LED hybrid printer, purchased from CMYUK – the UK’s largest independent supplier of wide-format digital printers, cutting equipment and materials.
